BLAHBATUH

Blahbatuh village is located at Gianyar Regency, Bali Province - Indonesia, with the area of ​​467 Ha, lies at east direction of Ubud village, take just 15 minutes from ubud and 45 minutes from denpasar, approximately 7 km to the west of the town of Gianyar, or 4 miles from Sakah (The Big Baby Statue), located along the main road of Denpasar - Gianyar. Blahbatuh village is one of archeological village in Bali and the place where the legend great chief minister Kebo Iwa was born.

Blahbatuh village began to be developed into a tourism village in 2012. Some attractions have been built and are ready to become a new tourist attraction in Bali, such as Simantri (Integrated Agricultural Systems) which is an agricultural support program of the provincial government of Bali, Yadnya Market (Specialized in selling all ceremonies equipment Hinduism in Bali), Blahbatuh rice field trekking and many more will be built the Balinese traditional attractions.

The main object of the Blahbatuh Tourism Village are ancient heritage sites from ancient ruler kingdom of Bedahulu and more modern kingdom of King of Jelantik, like Gaduh Temple of  Kebo Iwa, Dalem Maya Temple, Puri Ageng Blahbatuh, and many other relics.

By visiting Blahbatuh Tourism Village, at least we can know a little history of the unification of the archipelago of Indonesia by The great chief minister of Majapahit kingdom “Gajah Mada” which is the forerunner of the Republic of Indonesia.
